Position Summary

The Senior Financial Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Controller by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This position is responsible for the month-end close process, financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. In addition, this role serves as the primary accounting partner for our Commercial division, working closely with operations to support project accounting, billing, collections, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries and accruals.
• Perform month-end account analysis and support the close process.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Analyze monthly financial results and prepare variance explanations.
• Support preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Assist with year-end audit and CPA requests.

Revenue Recognition & Cost Accounting

• Prepare revenue recognition and COGS journal entries.
• Support project accounting and ensure proper job costing.
• Review project financial activity for accuracy and completeness.

Cash & Balance Sheet

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor balance sheet integrity and investigate unusual transactions.

Accounting Department

• Own the accounting support for the Commercial department.
• Manage commercial invoicing and customer billing.
• Monitor collections and partner with operations to resolve outstanding receivables.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for Commercial operations.

Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with Accounts Payable on job costing and project coding.
• Provide backup support for key accounting processes as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with implementation of accounting system improvements and process automation.
• Perform further duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Job Summary

Join A.B.E. Networks as an Installation Technician. We’re looking for motivated individuals with backgrounds in networking, carpentry, electrical work, or low-voltage wiring to install and service smart home, audio/video, lighting, shading, and networking systems in high-end residential and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat cable, fiber, speaker, control).

• Mount devices, TVs, speakers, and related equipment.

• Build and organize equipment racks.

• Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV and network systems.

• Support Lead Technicians and learn system programming (Lutron, Crestron, Savant, Control4).

• Ensure neat, detailed, and professional installations.

Requirements

• Background in networking, carpentry, electrical, security, AV, or construction.

• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and physical work (up to 70 lbs).

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the U.S.
